Hey, this is Aaron from Braddock Investment Group. I am sitting here with Fay. This is the owner of a beautiful home here in Chicago. We’re actually at the hotel. She flew in from town, out of town, and we are here about to close. And I wanted to actually get her opinion on how she found us, how was the experience, and what do you think you’re going to do with all the money and the freedom?
Fay:
Oh, my gosh.
Aaron:
How did you guys end up hearing about us?
Fay:
When we first heard about you, I was recommended by a relative, but he actually found you through Google. And what was amazing is when something is done online, you don’t get to actually interact with the persons. But this gentleman came out on the following day. He went to the house, he went through it, he did his inspection. And by the end of the day we had an offer. We did negotiate just a little bit. We had a little wiggle area. From there, everything from there on is very straightforward. The timing that it took to get this process going, I would say give or take a little over a 30-day period. And I am amazed. We’re going to get some money and we’re going to divide it all up with the family members, and we’re moving on.
Aaron:
Yeah. And you guys… They got a pretty nice price. And also-
Fay:
We actually got a very nice price. Because in our head we would say maybe this, maybe that. And then he offered us a price that was a little better than that. And we says, “We’re going to take it and run best, best [inaudible 00:01:45].” Yes. Yes.
Aaron:
No commissions, as is.
Fay:
Right. Right.
Aaron:
You don’t have to fix a thing. But one of the most unique parts about her situation was they’re all out of state. All of the heirs and all of the people involved in ownership work in different cities and different states around the country.
Fay:

How was that process being out of state selling to someone local?
Fay:
Well, it was actually very simple. Because I thought it would be complicated, but we actually got on a group email. We actually got on a group Zoom. We were made aware of everything that was needed for the process, and we all agreed and we all signed around. It was just too easy to believe. Yes, it really was.
Aaron:
And what are you guys going to do now that you have a new closing, some new money? Does it feel good?
Fay:
Yes.
Aaron:
A little more freedom?
Fay:
I tell my niece, “We’re going on vacation. I see a vacation in my future.” She said, “Me too.”
Aaron:
Yep. That’s amazing.
Fay:
Yes. And we’re more than overwhelmed with appreciation for everything that has happened.
Aaron:

I’m glad that it happened yesterday. Yes. And I’d like to share that with everyone because it just was so easy.
